Rule #50: Obtaining a Business
Description: Residents interested in opening a business within Isles RP must be a notable member of the community. Someone who is known around the city and has been a resident for at least 30 days in order to properly build RP around your character and potential business.
Once sufficient RP has been established towards your potential business, please open a ticket in the Isles RP discord to present your ideas to the Chamber of Commerce (CoC).
Please Note: The CoC may not always be accepting business proposals or rather, they might only be accepting certain types of proposals.
Rule #51: Business Owner Conduct
Description: Business Owners are required to remain active members of the server, and must work at least 8 hours a month at their own business. Owners are allowed to commit crime however if you involve your business into any illegal operations (i.e funneling drug money through your business account), your business is vulnerable to a PD investigation and legal action. If the DOJ rules the business to be shut down, your business license will be revoked. Do crime, just donβt use your business as a front! Or do and live out the RP behind it.
It is your responsibility as owner to hire/fire/and reprimand your employees. Failure to have your business open routinely will result in CoC interference. You may not mass-hire in an attempt to flood your chances of your business being open. Residents are only allowed to own or co-own ONE business at a time.
Punishments: Failure to comply with this conduct can result in CoC action against your business, from warnings to loss of the business.

If you wish to have a separate discord for your business, you must ask Isles RP server staff for permission to do so and it should make sense. For example, a Record Label might ask for a personal discord to avoid music leaks.
Punishments: Failure to comply with this can result in CoC action against your business, from warnings to loss of the business.
Rule #53: Event Requirement
