Rule #15: Language and Communications

Description: Isles RP is an English-based server. Refusal to communicate with other players in English will result in a ban.

Players are permitted to communicate with each other in another language, as long as the language being used does not violate any other rules, remains respectful, and all parties involved are comfortable with its use.

Examples:

• Engaging in roleplay using Spanish or French if all participants consent.

• Violating this rule by using another language to harass or insult players.

Punishments: Refusal to communicate in English may result in temporary suspensions or permanent bans. Violations involving other languages may be subject to similar punishments.

Rule #16: Advertising and Spamming

Description: Advertising other GTA V communities or engaging in cyber threats is strictly forbidden on all servers and channels within our community. Any form of malicious advertisements or cyber threats aimed at harming the community will result in an immediate permanent ban.

Avoid spamming identical or meaningless messages multiple times, including the use of the /me command. Similarly, spamming server commands multiple times or using voice chat to create irritating and unrelated sounds is not allowed.

Examples:

• Promoting another GTA V server in our Discord server.

• Repeatedly using /me commands to flood the chat.

Punishments: Advertising or cyber threats result in immediate permanent bans. Spamming can lead to warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on severity.

Rule #17: In-Character and Out-of-Character Language

Description: In-character offensive language and threats are permitted within the boundaries of roleplay; however, it is important to note that insulting another character may provide them with a roleplay reason to respond with hostile action.

Out-of-character offensive language, threats, or racism are strictly prohibited within our community. Making death threats towards living individuals is absolutely unacceptable and will result in severe consequences. Excessively screaming swear words at individuals or directed towards a person is not tolerated within our community.

We DO NOT allow the excuse of “It’s my character” when it comes to making fun of someone or being OOC toxic towards them in-character. Rule breaks of this type may be severely punished. Even for the first offense. Please make sure to treat every character with Common Courtesy (Rule #2)

Examples:

• Insulting another character's appearance, voice, or background during roleplay.

• Using racial slurs or making real-life threats in any community channels.

Punishments: Breaches can result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans, depending on severity.

Rule #18: Quality of Voice Chat

Description: Players who are utilizing low-quality microphones or voice changers that negatively impact the overall voice quality will be addressed through a ticket system.

Voice Changers are allowed to be utilized on Isles RP, with the following restrictions:

Voice changers that change pitch is allowed, however, they must not be overtly high or low-pitched to the point they're immersion-breaking or not befitting of your character

Examples:

• Using a malfunctioning voice changer that disrupts voice communication.

Punishments: Low-quality voice chat issues will be addressed through the ticket system. We may temporarily halt your access to the game server if these restrictions are broken.
